Join me and the skeleton crew as we investigate what makes up the structure of our horses. With a wealth of information provided by thirteen equine skeletons, we are able to examine similarities and differences between breeds, disciplines and ages. I love diving into the lessons these horses can teach us, and I’m sure you will too!
What’s It All About?
The Skeletal Anatomy Workshop takes us on a journey through the body of the horse, from head to toe.
I created this course as an introduction into the structure of our beautiful animals, and it is tailored to suit all levels of knowledge.
The wonderful thing about this workshop is that we get to use comparative anatomy to look at natural variations and how injury and movement patterns can cause skeletal changes.
We gain insight into how our horses are created, and also how their lives can change their bodies.
And finally, just for fun, I will give you a step by step guide on how to palpate and draw the skeletal structure on your own horse.
Hands on Skills
Gain practical, hands on skills to apply to your own (and/or client) horses. Feel confident in your ability to identify bony landmarks and potential skeletal anomalies.
Take Your Time
The course is broken into six easy to navigate units and it is your choice how to consume them. You can start anywhere, and travel at your own pace. The content is available to you for 12 months, so you can fit your learning around your life.
